Kickstarter Project: Animate More Bilton Artwork

SUCCESS!

We made our goal! Animation coming asap! The link is still there and continues to be a direct link to our animation! If you never saw the video, you should still see it. You'll see clips from films and animation Chris made as a boy! We presented this animation project online, partly because it is one that can be easily SHARED with YOU - no matter if you are near or far! This animation project will result in as many short art films as we can get out there at once! Then you can enjoy and share the work with others! If successful, we’ll be able to FINALLY put together by the end of 2013!!!

1

This project first and foremost will allow us to complete and present an entire new batch of Bilton art animated shorts to more people than ever! Getting our art out there helps us make new connections which could open up new opportunities.

2

Hopefully our art brings a little bit of happiness through enjoyment each time it is seen. We invest more than time and talent in anything and everything we do. It’s from the heart. It’s about being human, sharing beauty, laughter and love. We hope some of that comes across and reaches the audience.

3

This will make it possible to show appreciation and offer individuals something for the work they contributed out of love to help us get this Kickstarter created. This is money we need, not just for basic expenses, but also for critical maintenance and repairs in our home-studio spaces. For each of us, being able to make art means getting to do what we’re supposed to be doing, what we feel put on this Earth to do. Immediately, we’ll be able to make this animated art, and keep directing our energy towards this and then our next art projects without interruption.

4

If successful enough, this project may enable us to get software we need, which additionally will grow our skills with the new program(s) we choose to get and use. This should benefit our efficiency in animation to increase the potential for artistic commissions or commercial jobs, and our skill-set for teaching or collaborative work. All of this feels urgently needed these days. I’ll gladly explain more details (below) about technical issues for anyone curious, or in case you have any advice you’d be willing to share with us as I make some important software decisions. More Technical Details about the Animation Project

There are the costs of doing the project this way. We’ll pay for the shirts and bags, blank dvds, paper, ink, postage, fees and art supplies involved. That’s all been factored in. We think the added expenses will be very much worth it. Simply trying to make a living as artists these days is a difficult plight. Working in our small rural town increases the challenges of being artists. We’re excited about the potential for Kickstarter to help us reach a wider audience, make more art, generate more commissions that use our abilities, create opportunities and spread the word about what we do! We are so grateful.

I sincerely wish we could just do our work, and not even think about money. Don’t we all? With pledges adding up to at least $4200, we will have what we need to make this project happen and keep going! At long last I’ll have the time I need to focus on completing more of our animated art and getting it uploaded online!

If I know Chris, he’ll have drawings made for another brand new animation before I finish putting together any that are already in progress! He’s likely to have time-lapse images of new paintings ready to go too! Once I am able to get things rolling, I’ll be able to get more done right away. This is exciting for both of us!

PLEASE KNOW THAT WE’D BE HAPPY TO ACCEPT FINE ART COMMISSIONS or FREELANCE WORK ANIMATING DURING THIS PROJECT OR IN THE FUTURE. IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW WOULD WANT SOMETHING MADE, PLEASE CONTACT US at www.biltonarts.com or on Facebook: Bilton Arts Studio.

So here’s what you can do to help. FOR NO MONEY - you can share our website , our YouTube channel, and our Facebook pages and and LET OTHERS KNOW ABOUT US. Please try to think of anyone where you think there might be an interest or connection with ANY of the things we do, or if you know anyone who might want

- an animation made, or

- a portrait painted or sculpted, or

- music for a soundtrack, or

- a bass player for a gig, or

- music or art instruction, or

- a new custom made stringed instrument or drums, or

- to commission original art, or

- to be a part of our growing humanistic art movement, or

- to see what we do next.

If you want to support us, the Kickstarter campaign is long over. You simply need to contact us directly! If it’s art you want, we’ll be back in touch and work out details, with pleasure.
